-VESSELS CALLING MONTEVIDEO FOR DISCH MUST HAVE CRANES IN WORKING CONDITION AS SHORE/PUBLIC CRANES ARE OFTEN OUT OF ORDER. GRABS ON RECEIVER’S ACCT.
– NORMAL LOADING OPS ARE CARRIED OUT 24 HOURS AROUND THE CLOCK.
– IT IS POSSIBLE TO SUPPLY BUNKERS SIMULTANEOUSLY DURING LOADOPS VIA TRUCK/BARGE, BUT IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE CARGO INTAKE IT MAY BE CONSIDERED TO RECEIVE BUNKERS AT MONTEVIDEO ROADS.
– MONTEVIDEO’S PORT BOTTOM IS SOFT/MUDDY BUT NAABSA CLAUSE IS HIGHLY SUGGESTED FOR VESSEL’S DRAFT EXCEEDING 10,00 MTRS.
– NIGHT TIME NAVIGATION ALLOWED WITH NORMAL WEATHER/VISIBILITY CONDITIONS
– NATIONAL HOLIDAYS: JANUARY 01ST, MAY 01ST, JULY 18TH, AUGUST 25TH , DECEMBER 25TH
TGM Pier 2 (NORTH BERTH)
– Pier length:
Max LOA is of 245 mtrs.
In case a major LOA then a special authorization must be requested to Port Authority and make sure that Holds to be loaded/discharged are within the operational range.
– Depth alongside:
NORTH berth (TGM 2), Maximum draft at berth line 13 meters at 0 Warthon.
If arriving/sailing over 12 mtrs: 1 meter tide minimum needed using a special port Pilot.
– Berthing/Unberthing:
For In/Out: 2 tugboats (or subject to appointed port pilot needs/requirements).
13 conical fenders + 13 mooring bollards.
1 mooring dolphin in case needed for vessels of max. LOA.
Berthing must be done Starboard Side alongside; during berthing maneouver vessel must perform a 180° turn within Port basin and then proceeds alongside.
– Loading/Discharging:
Can be performed using vessel’s gears or a mobile crane must be hired. Terminal has no shore crane available.
