– NO RESTRICTIONS ON LOA, BEAM, WLTHC, AIR DRAFT UPTO POST PANAMAX SIZE AT PIERS 3/4/5, 6/7 OR 8/9.
– ENTER CHANNEL MAX. DRAFT 13,00 MTS BW AT DATUM.
– WATER DENSITY: 1000/1020 BRAKISH WATER (DEPEND ON THE WIND DIRECTION, FORCE AND TIDE).
– USUAL BERTHS TO LOAD BULK/BAGGED CARGOES : PIERS 3/4/5 , 8/9 & C.
– USUAL BERTHS TO DISCH BULK CARGOES: PIERS 1/2, 6/7, C. Eventually HEAD PIER B (for small LOA vessels only).  
-VESSELS CALLING MONTEVIDEO FOR DISCH MUST HAVE CRANES IN WORKING CONDITION AS SHORE/PUBLIC CRANES ARE OFTEN OUT OF ORDER. GRABS ON RECEIVER’S ACCT.
– NORMAL LOADING OPS ARE CARRIED OUT 24 HOURS AROUND THE CLOCK.
– IT IS POSSIBLE TO SUPPLY BUNKERS SIMULTANEOUSLY DURING LOADOPS VIA TRUCK/BARGE, BUT IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE CARGO INTAKE IT MAY BE CONSIDERED TO RECEIVE BUNKERS AT MONTEVIDEO ROADS.
– MONTEVIDEO’S PORT BOTTOM IS SOFT/MUDDY BUT NAABSA CLAUSE IS HIGHLY SUGGESTED FOR VESSEL’S DRAFT EXCEEDING 10,00 MTRS.
– NIGHT TIME NAVIGATION ALLOWED WITH NORMAL WEATHER/VISIBILITY CONDITIONS
– NATIONAL HOLIDAYS: JANUARY 01ST, MAY 01ST, JULY 18TH, AUGUST 25TH , DECEMBER 25TH
